Change the View Project

A charity focused on donating prescription eyeglasses to people worldwide who are suffering from visual impairment and unable to obtain eyeglasses by their own means. We believe that everyone has the right to clear vision and want to help make this a reality.

How it works:

For every pair of prescription eyeglasses purchased - a second pair of prescription eyeglasses are donated to someone in need. See participating brands and partnered websites.

The bigger picture:

There are approximately 560 million people around the world who are suffering from poor vision. With a simple pair of eyeglasses, these people can have their vision restored and lives improved dramatically. Our hope is to change these lives by donating free prescription eyeglasses.

In countries where eyeglasses are unattainable due to lack of training, equipment or basic infrastructure for distribution, lives are dramatically impacted. By no fault of their own, children suffer in school and adults struggle in professions that require accurate vision. This affects health, earning potential, and the ability to enjoy life.

To help put an end to this needless suffering, the Change the View Project aims to donate over 2 million pairs of eyeglasses by the year 2020. The Change the View Project is partnering with websites and organizations around the world with health aid missions, to distribute eyeglasses worldwide.
